Miyako Fujitani is a Japanese martial artist and actress who is best known for her work in the martial arts community. She is a sixth-degree black belt in Aikido and has trained extensively in Japan under the guidance of renowned Aikido master Morihei Ueshiba.
In addition to her martial arts expertise, Fujitani has also appeared in several films, including "Above the Law" (1988) and "Marked for Death" (1990), both of which starred her former husband, actor Steven Seagal.
Fujitani currently teaches Aikido and self-defense classes in Los Angeles, California, where she has established herself as a respected instructor in the martial arts community. She continues to promote the principles of Aikido and empower others through her teachings and work.
